About Brent Douglas

Apostle Brent Douglas has been the Senior Pastor of Encounter Christian Centre in New Zealand for over 30 years.

His passion is to revive the church, with an emphasis on bringing people into powerful encounters with the Holy Spirit, as seen in the Bible.

Brent’s ministry is characterised by strong prophetic flows. For over a decade he has trained pastors and leaders in the practical dynamics of how to move in the Spirit of God. He also pioneered the Breakthrough Youth Conferences in multiple cities, which have seen thousands of young people impacted with the power of the Holy Spirit and inspired to rise to the call of God for their lives.

One of the greatest goals in writing his books, is for the church to return to its roots of being a powerful Kingdom orientated community. Brent has been married to Patricia for over 40 years and together, they have five children and  eight grandchildren.
